I found that useful so I could go dual nagel or nature's peace nagel, and later you could go dual SOJ. If you wear tal amu too you don't need the FCR ring, you get 105 from just 4 piece tal, magefist, and 35 spirit. This is very similar to my 4 piece tal rasha fireball build: The MF comes from Tal's pieces, Tancred's pieces, Gheeds and a few MF small charms. Why not Phoenix? It's too expensive and it's missing FCR and resistances.ĮDIT: This has 300 MF, which is good enough. Wear Wisp or Tgods to be almost immune to souls.Wear Nature's Piece to take down Nihlathak safely.Wear a magic amulet with +3 to fire skills.Put fire facets into Tal's Orb and Tal's Armor (probably the best option).Possible improvements to make it more godly: Hydras can take them down from a distance, or you can do the hydra/fireball dance. The only challenge is that Venom Lords and Minions of Destruction are tanky, meaning they don't just die quickly like everything else. I wear Tancred's boots and amulet, which only add MF and FRW, but the MF is worth it. The 2nd ring, amulet, boots: Wear whatever you want. One ring with 10 FCR and resistances (for a total of 105 FCR).Tal's Belt (this ends up being better than wearing Tal's amulet for the 3rd piece because the belt adds FCR, but the amulet doesn't in this setup).Tal's Orb (for -15% enemy fire res with 3 pieces).Flickering Flame (-14% enemy fire res roll).1 point into Static Field, Telekinesis, Teleport, Frozen Armor. This is not fully optimized, but it's so strong that it's OK to stay that way. Is it as powerful as Lightning Fury or Nova with Infinity? No, but this version is much cheaper - the most expensive item is Flickering Flame (NefPulVex). This sorc just murders everything and can do all content with the sunder charm, and I'm not even using Phoenix. Mephisto and Diablo die very quickly too.
